“Shout joyfully to God, all the earth!
Sing about the glory of His name;
make His praise glorious.”
– Psalm 66:1-2
The Worship Ministry of FBC strives to “make His praise glorious,” as defined in Psalm 66:1-2. Using both voices and instruments, we join the psalmist in Psalm 66:4 saying, “All the earth will worship You.” Through corporate praise and worship, choirs, praise teams, orchestras/ensembles, and music education, we seek to “Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” We invite you to join us in worship and participate through our many Worship Ministry opportunities.
The worship ministry is made up teams of passionate volunteers who love God and love leading the church family in worship. If this describes you, there is a place for you on the team!
If you love to sing, join the Church Choir! The choir is an un-auditioned group of all ages that meets Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:00 pm for music and fellowship. At this time, preparations are made for worship and seasonal projects such as Easter, 4th of July and The Christmas Cantata.
The worship band consists of rhythm instruments such as guitars, drums, keyboards. We are always looking to include other musicians. If you are interested in serving in this area, we would love to visit with you about the opportunities to serve.
During each semester of the the school year, Wednesday Evening from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm, the children meet to prepare a musical or music presentation which they present at the end of each semester. Each week the children are given a spiritual challenge through music or lesson plan.
Ages are from Kindergarten to 6 Grade.
Each week the tech team does a fantastic job serving our church family and community. The weekly broadcast can be viewed on our Website at www.clintonfbc.com or listen on the radio at KWEY 95.5 FM radio station, If you have experience in the areas on audio, video, lighting or visual media (or would like to learn), contact the church office for more information.
